A Portland-based foundation supporting Jamaican students, families, and neighborhoods.
Jamaica Community Foundation PDX
What started as one community stepping up for another has grown into an ongoing commitment. We partner directly with Jamaican schools, families, and organizations to make sure every effort we take on delivers real, lasting support.
Communities across Jamaica continue to rebuild after Category 5 Hurricane Melissa, one of the reasons our work matters.
Our Latest Impact
Thanks to the generosity of our Portland community, students at Vineyard Basic School near Black River, Jamaica, returned to class with the supplies they need to learn and grow. Every backpack, every notebook, every dollar made it exactly where it was meant to go.
Thank you for supporting the communities of Jamaica during this critical time.
"Seeing the devastation Hurricane Melissa caused back home compelled me to act. I knew I had to do my part. I gathered a group of dedicated and compassionate friends who shared my desire to make a difference. Together, our mission is simple: to provide relief, restore hope, and help rebuild stronger communities for the future."

Your support, whether through supplies, a donation, or spreading the word, will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected.
All donations support our ongoing work with Jamaican schools, families, and communities. Every dollar helps fund the supplies, resources, and repairs that keep students learning and communities moving forward.
