Bringing school supplies and safety back to young students of Jamaica as their community continues to recover from Hurricane Melissa.

We stand proudly to invite you to support the students of Vineyard Basic School near Black River, Jamaica, a community still recovering from Category 5 Hurricane Melissa. We’ve focused our efforts where the need is greatest: a backpack and school supplies drive for the students, and repairing the school’s damaged perimeter fence so children can return to a safe learning environment.

Backpacks & Beyond: Supporting Jamaican Students

In partnership with Vineyard Basic School, we’re organizing a backpack and school supplies drive to equip students returning to class after Hurricane Melissa. Each backpack donation includes:

  • One backpack
  • Notebooks and composition books
  • Pencils, pens, and erasers
  • Folders, rulers, and other classroom essentials
